FAQS

What is the Saunatonttuu?

The Toasty Gnome honors the mythical Saunatonttu. These sauna gnomes are the guardians of the sauna’s heat and peace. Embrace tradition by offering the first ladle of steam to honor it and be mindful not to disrespect the sauna gnome by shouting, arguing, or lacking personal hygiene. We believe these traditions connect you to a rich cultural heritage by bringing warmth to your gatherings but also fostering a calm, respectful environment perfect for meaningful conversations and relaxation.

While traditional sauna use varies, we require all guests to wear a swimsuit or a towel for sanitary reasons when using the sauna or cold plunge.
